Aug 27, 2022 – Cape Coral Yacht Club

Tom is at the Cape Coral Yacht Club where no progress has been made four years after the Parks GO Bond was passed. The Council voted to shut it down for two years to make minor enhancements. Tom and others fought to reverse that decision and won.

Tom, as a private citizen and member of the Citizen Budget Review Committee went to the Tourism Development Council and lobbied for an addition $1.2 Million in funds to help this project. Delays and distractions by the Mayor and this Council have led to more inaction and diminished services.

The City is even losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in dock rental fees after plans were announced to close for construction. Not only does current leadership waste dollars, they are stopping the flow of dollars coming in with their ill-prepared responses to challenges.

I will work everyday as your mayor or keep projects on track and lead this city to a more prosperous and lower tax future. Visit to volunteer, donate, and learn about Tom’s priorities as your next mayor.
