I want to spend a minute today talking about leadership. Watching my opponent and city council for the last couple of years, I hear lots of excuses why things are not getting done and why things go wrong. It is never their fault.
They use the points that as a council member they are only 1 vote, or that the City Manager runs the city not the council. This is a failure of leadership.
A good leader takes the blame for problems and gives others accolades for things done well. That is the type of leadership you will get from me.
