[Cape Coral, FL]: Former Boeing Senior Manager and Cape Coral resident Tom Shadrach will face off against appointed current mayor of Cape Coral John Gunter in November general election.
Since retiring from Boeing in 2017, Tom Shadrach and his wife Michele have called Cape Coral home. Since then, Tom has used his talents and experience to root out wasteful spending while serving on the Cape Coral Budget Review Committee and working as a private citizen to create transparency within city government.
Tom is a no nonsense business leader and problem-solver. During his 37 years at Boeing, he managed more than 500 global employees and oversaw a $1.5 billion annual budget. Tom worked with the US Department of Defense to supply our Air Force and Allies with the F-15 Eagle fighter jet and the Navy with the P-8 Poseidon Flight Simulators; protecting our freedom around the globe. Tom Shadrach maintained a Secret Clearance status with the United State Government and continues to be a proud supporter of veteran causes and organizations.
Tom Shadrach is running to replace a failed administration plagued with consistent delays and fiscal mismanagement at all levels. His goal is to root out incompetence and remedy the damage so Cape Coral residents can enjoy a level of prosperity that rivals our incredible growth.
“As Mayor, I promise to remove the barriers that for too long have needlessly diminished our quality of life. I will work daily to fix our city’s mismanagement and eliminate taxpayer abuse with greater leadership, accountability, transparency, and planning so that Cape Coral is well positioned to embrace the explosive growth we are expecting over the next two decades.” – Tom Shadrach
